Mental Health Alternatives (MHA) and Artpothecary are thrilled to collaborate on a transformative 3-part series designed to empower tweens and teens through art and mindfulness.

Held on school days off, this program combines creative expression, mental health tools, and wellness education to help young minds thrive!

Through a unique blend of artistic exploration and mental wellness guidance, participants will:

  • Learn to navigate emotions and foster a calm, confident mindset.
  • Explore self-expression through hands-on art projects.
  • Build resilience and creativity to design the life they desire.

Begin each session with connection-building games and light movement to energize the body and mind.

šŸŽØ Guided Art Projects
Led by expert instructors from Artpothecary, students will create:

  • Session 1 (Jan. 20): Creative Mindfulness Journals
    Craft and personalize art journals with paints, cutouts, and meaningful quotes. Take home a to-go bag of supplies to continue your journaling journey.
  • Session 2 (Feb. 17): Abstract Self-Portraits
    Dive into self-love through art history and create a personal abstract portrait inspired by how you feel, not just what you see.
  • Session 3 (Mar. 14): Paint & Grow Flower Pots
    Learn acrylic pour techniques to design a unique flower pot and take home seeds, soil, and planting instructions to nurture your creation.
